International Babywearing Week began yesterday and runs through until October 14, 2012. In honor of babywearing and how much we love it, we’re giving away a Boba Wrap baby carrier!

  1. I have not ever tried wearing my baby….but I am expecting another child in December and look forward to bonding with my baby in this way…..I know that this is a very important way of bonding with your child!!!

  4. I think baby wearing is a great thing because it helps me to show my little one love while still being able to get things accomplished. It’s also going to be very valuable to me soon as I’ll have a newborn and 18 month old so I can still play with my toddler while wearing my newborn.

  7. Babywearing is important because it keeps me sane while grocery shopping and lets me snuggle the babies when they need some extra cuddles if we are out and about.

  11. It is important to me because I am a mom of 2 and understand the nurturing process and being “close” to your baby. I nursed both of my kids and it was a beautiful experience. Anything that brings you closer to your baby and has that “bonding, nurturing” affect like the boba wrap, is a wonderful thing.

  16. It is important to me because, as an army wife, I am sometimes a single parent and it allows me to keep her close to me and let me get other things done as well. :)

  18. As a new mom-to-be I have been reading up on the importance of babywearing and feel that it is the best option for my soon-to-be-born baby girl. I love the idea of keeping her close and yet being able to potentially be hands free. Plus I’ve never been a fan of “traditional” baby carriers!! :0)

    Baby wearing is important to me because it keeps my sweet baby girl close to my heart. She loves to be snuggled up against me and I love it too. My husband also loves to wear our baby girl. It is also very convenient and comfortable. Thank You.

    I have never tried baby wearing, but can’t wait to if I have a 3rd baby. I have seen the positive effects it has with my nephew, so I’m very excited to try. I could probably even wear my 11 month old, since I also have a 3 year old.

    Babywearing is important to me, especially when I am out and about. My baby and I both feel more secure when we are close together. Also, for BFing mamas, they are close enough to be getting you exposed to everything they are exposed to so you can produce the antibodies they need to protect them from illness.

    My boyfriend is a trucker which means I’m basically a full-time single parent to our two year old and 3 week old boys. Being able to wear my newborn lets me still manage to clean m house and care for our older son!

    I have worn all five of my kids. Babywearing is important to me for lots of reasons, but mostly to keep my babies close to me and give me free hands for my other kids.

    I do not have a baby carrier, but would like to try baby wearing with my 4 month old son. He likes to be held constantly and wearing him in a carrier would hopefully enable me to get a lot done around the house. I have read lots of great reviews about Boba wraps and would love to win one.

    Baby wearing is important to me because it instantly calmed my little girl when I wore her. I think it also made her feel safe to be right next to me, especially when we were out shopping and strangers kept trying to interact with her.

  33. Because it brings baby closer to mom. Creates a lasting bond and helps baby to feel secure and loved. Also helps mom to get the dishes done;)

    Babywearing allows me to stay close to my children without sacrificing my ability to get things done. Plus, is there anything sweeter than getting to feel that lovely warm, rythmic breathing while your child sleeps on your chest.?

    Babywearing is important to me because I believe it strengthens the relationship between mother (father) and child. I never wore either or my boys until they were older.
